'Gotham' Season 2 Cast News, Update: Fox Casts Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan

We reported this week about the inclusion of "The Tudors" and "Orphan Black" star, James Frain, to play a "sexy, heroic, billionaire" industrialist character that uses his philanthropic activities as a front to win the hearts of the Gothamites.

Frain's character, named Theo Galavan, will be joined by his sister, Tabitha, in their mission to wreak havoc in the city.

Just recently, a new casting report from TV Line updates the announcement from Fox that it has already picked the actress to play Theo's sibling. According to the media outlet, Jessica Lucas has landed the role of Tabitha in the upcoming second season of the network's hit crime-fighting TV drama series, "Gotham."

The "Gracepoint" star will take on the role of the DC Comics villainess infamously known as the Tigress.

She was further described by the publication being a "sexy and violent – and toting a bullwhip! – character" and is the exact "opposite of her cold and calculating brother, deriving a sensual pleasure from the mayhem she's tasked with making."

The Galavans are hell-bent to exact a "centuries-old vendetta" which includes the destruction of Batman's beloved city.

It was also found out that the duo's introduction in the sophomore season will "eventually lead to the destruction of some old villains and the creations of new ones."

Aside from the recently-finished Fox drama, Lucas has also appeared on several scripted programs including "Melrose Place," "90210" and "Cult."

Frain and the actress mentioned will join other members of the cast like Ben McKenzie, as Jim Gordon; Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock; David Mazouz as the young Bruce Wayne; and Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle.

"Gotham" Season 2 is slated to premiere on Fox this fall.
