'Gotham' Season 3B Spoilers: Bruce Awaits Jerome's Return

Bruce (David Mazouz) is a marked man in the upcoming second half of the current season of "Gotham."

The promo for the midseason premiere shows Bruce fighting for his life. Several men have him cornered and are determined to eliminate him.

Season 3B will definitely be tough for the young master of Wayne Enterprises. It has been previously teased that Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) is coming after him. Before the man being tagged as the Joker was killed by Theo (James Frain), his mission was to kill Bruce. When he was resurrected, thanks to Hugo Strange (BD Wong), he had no other thought in mind but to finish what he started. Bruce is in grave danger and he needs all the help he can get.

Chris Chalk, who plays Lucius, the loyal ex-employee of Wayne Enterprises, told IB Times that his character has Bruce's back. Lucius may be with the Gotham City police department now, but he still believes it is his task to protect the young Wayne. Chalk said that Lucius might have failed to save Bruce's father, Thomas (Grayson McCouch), but he will definitely do his best to guard the young master. Lucius will be on the lookout for Jerome. He will not let another Wayne die on his watch.

"I think what you should expect from Lucius is...because of his failing Thomas Wayne earlier, he will not fail Bruce Wayne," Chalk said, according to IB Times. He adds: "His path has been altered by Wayne enterprises being corrupt. Because of their corruption and him not being able to find the source of that corruption in an efficient manner, he's moved on to the GCPD to try and help Gotham as much as he can while always keeping an eye on Bruce. When Bruce needs him, [Lucius] will be there for Bruce."

"Gotham" season 3 will return in April 24, 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
