'Gotham' Season 4 Spoilers: Ra's al Ghul to Mentally Torture Bruce Wayne

While Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) will be facing a lot of villains in the upcoming season 4 of the FOX DC series "Gotham," he may suffer the most in the hands of Ra's al Ghul (Alexander Siddig).

"Gotham" season 4 is finally premiering tonight, and Mazouz has suggested in a recent interview that his character will encounter the most evil version ever of Ra's al Ghul. According to the actor, the supposed immortal supervillain will be the most formidable opponent his character will come across in the upcoming season of "Gotham."

"Ra's al Ghul is his biggest villain. He' s going to be putting him through mental torture... I would say this is the most evil Ra's al Ghul. This is the Ra's al Ghul that will do awful, awful, very, very controversial things that I'm surprised they're letting us do on national television," Mazouz said in a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes.

In the said interview, Mazouz also went to reveal that, while his character is not ye a full-fledged Batman, he is already on the path of becoming the Dark Knight. In fact, according to the young actor, he is excited about wearing his own version of the character's costume, which, although different from Batman's cowl, the 16-year-old actor claims to be similar at the same time.

"Obviously, being similar is really exciting to get close to that canon iteration, but also excited that I'm going to be able to do my own version. Gotham is embracing its own unique version of this character," Mazouz revealed.

As Bruce Wayne embarks on a journey that will eventually lead him to becoming Batman, his ever-loyal butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) will be there to guide and support him. After all, Mazouz revealed that there's nothing Alfred can do to stop him from being a masked vigilante, leaving him with no choice but to support his young master.

What kind of mental torment will the young Bruce Wayne experience in the hands of Ra's al Ghul? How evil is the character in the version of the series? How will Bruce Wayne deal with him?

Find out as "Gotham" season 4 begins airing tonight on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
