'Gravity Rush 2' Raven's Choice DLC Available Now

It has been over two months since Japan Studio's "Gravity Rush 2" has hit the markets worldwide, and fans continue to enjoy the freefalling diva Kat and her maneuvers through the air with grace and glamor. Today, the spotlight turns on her comrade, Raven, as she gets new content dedicated to her adventures.

March 21 has been slated as the official launch date of the free downloadable content (DLC), The Ark of Time – Raven's Choice, PlayStation's Twitter account has announced. In this DLC, the player controls Raven as the plot at the end of the original "Gravity Rush" on PS Vita unravels.

It can be recalled that before the first game ended, there were kidnapped children trapped within what they called the Ark, and Raven exhausts everything in order to save every last one of them. This would be a daunting task, however, as she is faced with two foreboding enemies, namely Lumino and Tenebria. The DLC will shed more light on what their purpose is, adding more meat into the main game's plot.

In the main game, the player solely controls the Gravity Queen Kat, mastering three types of gravity manipulation. With the players stepping into the shoes of her equally graceful ally, Raven, it will be interesting to see if she also has control of the same gravitational powers and if she does it better. The best part is that the DLC is free, so everyone gets a stab at the experience.

"Gravity Rush 2" has been widely praised by critics for a variety of reasons. Forbes praises the title's fluid controls and quick humor, while GameSpot gives due props to the intricately laid plot that patches events from the original game.

When the game was released, it immediately rose to the top spot in Japan, selling more than 74,000 copies in its first week alone. With an upcoming DLC, it may entice more players to take a plunge into the title.
