Green Bay Packers vs Cincinnati Bengals Live Stream (CBS): Watch NFL Football 2017 Online

The Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals go head to head on Sunday in a big clash for Week 3 of the NFL 2017 regular season. Today's game takes place from Lambeau Field in Green Bay and has a start time of 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network, or online through live stream (details below).

The Packers know that a win today would get their season back on track in a big way. They come into Week 3 on 1-1, and if they can move to 2-1, it wouldn't have been a perfect start to the season, but a reasonable one that they can build upon. Oppositely if they slip up again today and drop to 1-2 then it will feel like a disastrous start to the new season, and would leave them with a lot to do and with confidence clearly knocked.

The Bengals meanwhile are already fighting to keep their season alive. At 0-2 they desperately need to find a way to get on the board and register a first win of the season so far. If they lose again today and drop to 0-3 it would be a long way back for them and their season would already be on the brink with less than a month's worth of football played in the new season.

These two teams have only met 12 times before in the regular season, and the Bengals have had the lion's share of the games, winning seven of those encounters compared to the Packers' five victories.

The Packers in fact have not defeated the Bengals since way back in 1998, and Cincinnati amazingly stand as the only team in the NFL that quarterback Aaron Rodgers and coach Mike McCarthy have never bested.

They will be hoping to snap that record today, and might not get a better opportunity as the Bengals are in disarray at the moment and have not shown much to make opposition teams shudder through the opening weeks of the season.

Earlier this week, Thursday's game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers turned out to be the highest scoring game in the history of NFL Thursday Night Football games, with the Rams claiming a 41-39 victory to move to 2-1. The 49ers meanwhile suffered a third straight loss to drop to 0-3, and their season is immediately on the brink.

The highest scoring game for Thursday Night Football prior to the Rams vs 49ers battle was the 2014 meeting between the Chargers and the 49ers. Again in that game the 49ers came out on the losing side, suffering a 38-35 defeat.

Many may have expected the Rams to come out firing on all cylinders, as they had already proven that they have the players to participate in a high-scoring shootout. In Week 1 they scored 46 points. However, the way the 49ers responded and fought all the way was wholly unexpected for most people, but it helped to provide one of the most entertaining games you're likely to see all season.

In the fourth quarter with under nine minutes remaining in the game, the 49ers were 41-26 behind and looked dead and buried. However, then Brian Hoyer led the team to two straight scoring drives.

Hoyer first threw a 3 year touchdown pass to Trent Taylor to make the scores 41-33, but even then most thought the touchdown was more a consolation prize rather than the start if an amazing fight back from the 49ers.

But from the restart, Rams' returner Pharoh Cooper fumbled to hand the ball straight back to the 49ers. Sn inspired San Francisco team then pushed forward for eight plays before a one yard run by Carlos Hyde got them into the end zone to pull the score to 41-39.

The 49errs went for the two point conversation to bring things level, but were unable to pull it off, leaving them two points behind and facing defeat.

But the breathless finale to the game was not over yet. From the restart the 49ers recovered the onside kick and it looked like they might pull off one of the most amazing comebacks. But soon after, Hoyer was sacked by Aaron Donald on a fourth-and 20 play, and the game was over.

However, the ending of the game revealed some fight that many thought the 49ers were lacking, and that could give them hope that it will not be all doom and gloom this season in the end.

Meanwhile, today's Week 3 game between the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network, or online through live stream by clicking here.
