'Grimm' Season 4 Spoilers, News: The 'Octopus Head' Returns for Halloween

"Grimm" opened up for its fourth season with premiere episode titled, "Thanks for the Memories." The opener picked up where the last season left off with Nick (David Giuntoli) losing his powers, and Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) still in a critical condition after Weston Steward (Thomas Howell) shot him in the chest.

In the next and upcoming episode, spoiler news suggests that it seems like it's not only Nick who is reluctant in restoring his powers.

In the recently-released promo for Friday's episode "Octopus Head," Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) speaks to Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner), "maybe we shouldn't fix this."

"You don't want us to help Nick?" Monroe asks dubiously.

Also shown is "Orange is The New Black" actress Elizabeth Rodriguez playing the character of Agent Chavez, interrogating Nick and transitioning right before his very eyes. Nick lost his ancestral powers and he could not fully discern whether or not the detective is a monster.

Speculations for the forthcoming episode also pointed out that fans might now be able to know if Nick has really decided to get rid of his abilities and prefer his normal homicide detective life.

An official synopsis for "Octopus Head" was posted in The Futon Critic.

"As Nick and Hank turn their attention to a string of attacks where victims are left without their memories, Nick weighs whether or not he should regain his Grimm abilities. Trubel joins the investigation and puts herself in harms way. In Vienna, Adalind is being held captive and learns that she is more connected than ever to Nick. Meanwhile, Captain Renard continues to fight for his life as a mysterious visitor arrives to help him," the summary reads.

"Grimm" Season 4 airs every Friday, at 9 p.m. on NBC.
