'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: Cast Members Hint Of More Mysteries To Come

When the action-adventure supernatural TV series "Grimm" celebrated the airing of its 100th episode last November 10, the show's cast members as well as the creative team behind the series got together to celebrate the milestone. According to a report in IGN, reaching the 100th episode milestone is always major for any TV show. During the celebration, cast members were also asked about what Season 5 has in store for the show's loyal fans. Most of them hinted that the coming episodes will bring out more mysteries that are guaranteed to "turn things on their head," as the report said.

In the last aired episode of "Grimm" titled "Lost Boys," the story of Peter Pan and his band of lost boys take a grim turn as a particular group of orphaned children end up abducting Rosalee (Bree Turner) because they wanted her to be their mother. This prompted the boys Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) to go after them and save Rosalee who is in grave danger as this same group of children may have been responsible for a tragic missing persons case. Adalind, on the other hand, is trying to figure out if she can go back to work.

Towards the end of the episode, it has been revealed that the other Grimm, Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) was being held captive by some mysterious force as she is the one shown in a cell. According to the actress, when she was asked by IGN about her character, she said that although she still has her weapon of choice (the machete), she looks different. She said this about her character, "Something's changed, and you know something has happened in my life and I'm part of another world sort of. I've been in that world for quite some time and the audience doesn't know that, and you get to finally figure out where this new turn with where Trubel has gone."

One of the show's showrunners, Jim Kouf, echoed this sentiment and promised that fans will soon find out from episodes 4 to 6 what happened to Trubel after Season 4.

The report also mentioned that the rest of the season will bring in a new storyline that one cast member (Sasha Roiz) said "will change the direction of the show." The mystery of the Black Claw, which was mentioned in the "Lost Boys" episode, may well be this storyline. Bree Turner, who plays Rosalee, said that this storyline is in fact making the series "a lot more serialized" which for her is very exciting. She added, "Black Claw are now being tied into pretty much every procedural episode we have. There's a real connective tissue in this season that we haven't had before."

Fans can continue to watch "Grimm" which airs every Friday at 9 p.m. on NBC.
