'Grimm' Season 6 Episode 12: Zerstörer Threat Gets Real in Penultimate Episode

The Skull Guy, known formally as the Zerstörer, finally crosses over to Portland in the upcoming penultimate episode of "Grimm: The Final Chapter." And with his intentions now known to the gang, Nick (David Giuntoli), Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) are hard-pressed to find a way to keep the devil's intended child bride, Diana (Hannah R. Loyd), away from him.

According to the official synopsis for the episode aptly titled "Zerstörer Shrugged," Nick will take Diana and her parents to the cottage where he did his first investigation as a Grimm. But will hiding out there, where none of them share a connection to, be enough to keep the Zerstörer away?

It's an all hands on deck effort as Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni), who previously went on a mission outside of Portland, returns to assist the gang in every way possible. And while Nick, Renard and Adalind are focusing their resources on protecting Diana, Eve (Elizabeth Tulloch), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) will continue their investigation into the origins of the mysterious magic stick. Will the stick be the answer they need to put a stop to the Zerstörer's threat?

Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) will try to keep things in order on their end as they are called to a crime scene that is connected to the Zerstörer's arrival in Portland. The official trailer for the episode also shows Hank taking the Skull Guy on at the police station, and possibly putting his own life at risk to protect his friend Nick.

The build up to the ultimate conclusion has begun, and while the executive producers promised a finale that will neatly wrap everything up, it will also leave room for a continuation should a chance arise in the future, as reported by Yahoo TV.

"We are disappointed that it is coming to a close [but] 5 1/2 seasons were all they wanted. We were only done because NBC was done. If NBC said 'more,' we'd obviously do more. If [fan petitions worked and] Netflix said, 'We'd do more episodes,' we'd sure be interested in doing it," co-executive producer Jim Kouf said.

"Grimm" season 6 episode 12 airs on Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
