'Grimm' Season 6 Spoilers: Another Traitor in the Scooby Gang Emerges; Nick and Renard Will Continue Feud

Renard's heorics went for naught as Nick cannot forget his betrayal

Nick Burkhardt's conflict with Sean Renard is not over after all. It will continue well into the upcoming "Grimm" Season 6. This after Renard saved Nick's life in last season's finale. But, the new season will not entirely focus on Nick and Renard's friendship -or lack thereof- at all.

In the final episodes of "Grimm" Season 5, Nick and the Scooby Gang were left with no house and in a serious bind. A series of unfortunate events will lead the monster hunter scrambling into the "Grimm" Season 6 premiere. It is safe to say that next season will pick up immediately from where the previous one left off.

In order to spare Nick's (David Giuntoli) life, Renard (Sasha Roiz) mercilessly killed Conrad, the Black Claw leader last season. Renard and Adalind's daughter Diana apparently used a voodoo doll to provoke Renard into killing Conrad.

Fans could not have been more wrong in assuming that things will be smooth sailing for Nick and Renard from there. Even with the latter's heroic effort, Nick and the rest of the Scooby Gang will not let his betrayal be easily forgotten. "Grimm" Season 6 will continue to have more tense encounters between the two.

Jumping ship

According to a report, one Scooby Gang member will be jumping ship and in the process bring with him some vital information that could potentially harm Nick and the rest of the gang. If this is true, things can be really grim for Nick especially now that Renard has switched to the dark side.

To make matters worse, the new person leaving the gang might be teaming-up with Renard. Together, they can bring a lot of trouble for Nick.

Will there be a Season 7?

There are many speculations on whether "Grimm" Season 6 will be the final one for the series. The Season 5 finale was teased as the beginning of the end. It was rather easy for fans to assume that the upcoming season will be the show's swan song.

Fans also clued in to the fact that only 13 episodes were ordered for the fantasy police drama's sixth season as against the usual 22 episode pre-order. The renewal announcement for the sixth season also took longer than the usual.

To address this question, NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt that a Grimm Season 7 is still likely to happen. However, it is still a bit too early to decide on the matter as the production for Grimm Season 6 has just started. He added that they may order more episodes for the upcoming season on top of the 13 episode

"Grimm" Season 6 premier is slated to air on October 28 on NBC.
