GTA 5 for PS4, Xbox One Release Date November 18, 2014: Xbox One Version Ready for Pre-Order and Pre-Download

Grand Theft Auto 5 is now less than a week from release for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One and Rockstar is already preparing for the launch day. The developers announced recently that a title update will be available on launch day which will be introducing some "last tweaks and optimization fixes." The update will be applied automatically.

GTA Online for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, when it was first released on September last year, faced certain issues which caused widespread criticism from gamers. Rockstar has said that it won't be promising a smooth launch for the PS4 and Xbox One but has tested the game thoroughly to ensure that the game will be up and running the moment it becomes available Tuesday next week.

Rockstar has reminded players that they can provide feedback for the devs through their support page or by contacting GTAOnline@rockstargames.com.

"We need your continued help, and, maybe, just a little patience if there are any teething problems around the launch on the new systems. We have, of course, tested the game extensively but there is no way our several hundred testers can be quite as comprehensive as millions of players!" said Rockstar.

"Please bear with us should any issues arise – we will be working hard to fix any problems that arise, and generally ensure this launch is as smooth as possible," the company continued.

In the meantime, Xbox One users can now pre-order and pre-download the game as announced by Microsoft. However, while Xbox One owners may have the game, they won't be able to play it until the game is actually released. Still, this would allow Xbox users to already play the game once it's been released, instead of having to wait until it finishes downloading from launch.

The Pre-Order Edition for the Xbox One is inclusive of $1 million in-game cash, split between story mode and GTA Online.
