'GTA 6' Latest Rumors and Release Date: Still No Word from Rockstar Games; Setting and VR Predictions
Rumors about the GTA 6 continue to dominate the gaming scene, but Rockstar Games hasn't revealed a release date yet. For now, the company wants GTA fans to focus on the still hyped GTA V.
During the E3 2016, many fans thought Rockstar Games will say something about the GTA V sequel. Unfortunately, the game developer didn't even mention the much-awaited game.

This doesn't stop fans from speculating about what GTA 6 will be like. Some rumors suggest that GTA 6 will be set at a location outside the United States. GTA 5 Cheats has been listing potential international locations for the new game, and one of these potential settings is located in Manila, Philippines.
Rodrigo Duterte, president of the Philippines, is making international news headlines for his aggressive campaign against drug lords and drug pushers. Drugs have become a major problem in the Philippines. While many have surrendered, and a lot have been killed, some innocents have been killed due to the campaign.
Due to the city's story potential, crime profile and geography, Manila seems to be a great setting for the next Grand Theft Auto game. One drawback may be that sports cars won't seem to realistically fit in this particular setting.
Another rumored setting is the London during the 1960s. Then again, these are all pure speculations, and the game might even stay in the U.S. locale.
Rumors: Virtual Reality
WhatCulture.com released some interesting rumors about GTA 6's gameplay. One of these is virtual reality integration.
First person was introduced in the Xbox one and PS4 version of GTA V. With this mode, the game reached a higher level of realism. But with the addition of VR integration, first person will pale in comparison, and, maybe the parents won't be too happy about this, committing video game crimes would become so real.
Rumors: Time Travel
According to Christian Today, GTA 6 will include time travel in the gameplay, making the game incredibly futuristic. One has to admit though, that this idea seems ludicrous or out of place, at least compared to how Rockstar Games portrays the previous GTA games.
Still, teleportation was introduced in GTA V, so maybe there could be a seamless extension in this new gameplay feature somehow.
Release Date
According to iTechPost, the trend is that GTA is usually released every 4-5 years. If this trend continues, then GTA 6 won't be released until the year 2018.
There is a strong possibility, albeit still a rumor, that details to Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in E3 2017.
