'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' News, Cast Rumors: Director James Gunn Wants Nebula in Film; Easter Eggs in Blu-Ray Release Revealed

"Guardians of the Galaxy," despite not being one of the more widely known comic books out in the public, became one of the highest grossing films in 2014. James Gunn, who directed the film, is particularly fond of the character Nebula, and reveals that she is not dead and wants to make her appear in the second film.

He revealed during an interview how he had casted Karen Gillian for the character considering how important the character is to him personally and to the movie. However, he still has not confirmed if Nebula will be appearing in the sequel "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."

Apart from the serious note that he wants the fans to feel more passionately about the character, he jokes that the has a lot of plans for Nebula in his personal life.

Also, with an impending Blu-ray release, Gunn has revealed that there are a number of "easter eggs" in the film which still hasn't been spotted and posted online.

"Yeah, there's definitely some things that people haven't seen. There's definitely one really big thing that people haven't seen, but they may never see it – we'll see," he said. "There's other things, too. The other day, I posted on my Instagram a picture of the other guys going for the Infinity Stone in the temple of Morag and I didn't see anybody bring that up until just a couple of weeks ago."

"I do notice that people are noticing more things now that they've got the digital download. People are starting to see things that they didn't notice in the theaters, even those people who saw it twenety times," he added.
