'Gunman Taco Truck' Review and Tips: Action-Packed Restaurant Simulation Gets Good Ratings

The restaurant simulation game (with a zombie twist) "Gunman Taco Truck" is recently getting fairly good reviews and ratings across gaming platforms.

"Gunman Taco Truck," as the name suggests, involves serving up food to customers, but what makes the game more interesting is the post zombie apocalypse setting. The goal is for the player to reach the safe haven of Winnipeg, Canada where no taco trucks exist so the protagonist's taco truck family business can potentially be a hit.

However, players will have to go through towns overrun with zombies. This means that they will have to run the taco truck while fighting them. The good news is the taco truck has weapons which can be upgraded to ward off the living dead.

"Gunman Taco Truck," which was developed by Romero Games, currently has a "Positive" overall rating at Steam since 91 percent of the user reviews gave the title their recommendations and thumbs-up. One Steam user review says, "Without question, one of, if not the best roguelike game I've ever played." Some players think the gameplay is pretty basic but its concept is essentially addictive for breaking the monotony of restaurant simulation games.

On the other hand, as "Gunman Taco Truck" slowly gains popularity, iDigitalTimes has already collected several tips for existing and new players.

One of the most basic tips says players need to keep an eye on their restaurant's supplies. Players are advised to maximize their stopovers by serving as many customers as they can. To do that, having ample supply of ingredients is key.

In relation to the taco truck supplies, players are advised to never serve a taco with a missing ingredient. While it is possible to serve incomplete tacos, players should know that it will make customers come back to get a refund.

Like in any business, buying items at an unnecessary time is not helpful. The same rule applies in "Gunman Taco Truck," but in this game, it involves strategy. Players will have the option to restock their gas at every stop. However, the pricing is tricky since players will be required to pay a flat rate. This means refilling a tank that is half or completely empty has the same price.

As players move from one place to another while journeying to Winnipeg, they will be asked to upgrade their truck. Upgrades come in handy since zombie attacks intensify as time goes by. So, it is necessary to collect as much scraps as possible since these are the ticket to purchasing truck upgrades.

The game is currently available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Steam.
