Gwen Stefani announced Friday that she and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting another baby boy.
The No Doubt singer, 44, joined social networking site Instagram on Jan. 17 and immediately shared a photo with her followers which finally confirmed months of pregnancy speculation. Stefani, who shares two sons Kingston and Zuma with her British rocker husband, is seen posing with a gold crown and a beaming smile.
"I was ready to hand over the crown, but I guess I am still queen of the house," she captioned before adding "#itsaboy #surroundedbyboys."
Stefani first sparked pregnancy reports in August during a family vacation in the South of France, when she appeared with a slight baby bump while wearing a bikini. Within weeks rapper Eve, who is a friend of the singer's, appeared to confirm the news.
"She's preggers! She's preggers," Eve quipped during an interview with Live Nation Us magazine reported in September. "I think she's chilling."
The "Wind It Up" singer and Rossdale, who wed in 2002, are said to be thrilled about the pregnancy particularly because they were reportedly not trying to conceive. They were initially hoping for a girl.
"It's always been Gwen's dream to have a little girl," a source previously told Life & Style magazine.
"They remodeled the house recently in hopes that they will be having a baby girl. They wanted to make sure they had more room!"
The pregnancy reports come three years after Stefani revealed that she and Rossdale, 48, who is also an actor, had longed to have another child. The couple reportedly struggled to conceive after the birth of Zuma, 5.
"I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago," Stefani told Marie Claire magazine in 2012. "And it didn't really work out. So … I feel good with what we've got. Everything works out how it should ... You can't plan anything, right? You can try."
