Gwen Stefani Credits 'Miracle Baby' to Older Son's Prayers: Kingston 'Has A Direct Link to God'
Gwen Stefani recently opened up about her recent pregnancy and the arrival of her third son, endorsing eldest son Kingston's power of prayer.
The No Doubt singer appeared on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Wednesday, Sept. 4 where she revealed that before the arrival of baby Apollo, 8-year-old Kingston had voiced his desire for another sibling.
"[Kingston] asked me, 'Mom, are you going to have a baby? I want you to have a baby,'" Stefani told Meyers. "I was like, 'It's over. We're not having any more. This is our family.'"

However, within a few short months, Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale would celebrate news of a third child together. Stefani has previously deemed her youngest son a "miracle baby," but the singer went on to explain that her eldest son's prayers played a big role.
"Kingston … has a direct link to God, basically," the 44-year-old mom said. "[He started to pray,] 'Dear God, please let my mom have a baby. Please, God! Please let me mom have a baby."
Stefani added that Kingston prayed every single night for a new baby.
"And four weeks later, I was pregnant," she said. "He prays for everything [now]. 'Please God, please let me have another cupcake… Yes!' He really believes."
Stefani and Rossdale's son, Apollo Bowie Flynn, was born in February. The couple, who have been married for 11 years, are also parents to 6-year-old son Zuma. Stefani went on to discuss landing a role on "The Voice" shortly after welcoming Apollo.
"I got this call out of nowhere," she explained to Meyers. "My parents were over … I just put the phone down and I was like, 'My life is so weird. They just asked me to do The Voice.' I feel like I've been in a cocoon having a baby and now I'm like a butterfly."
