H1Z1 Scheduled for Late 2014 Release, Exact Date Still Unknown

"H1Z1" is an upcoming massively multiplayer online game by Sony Online Entertainment. The game is scheduled to be released sometime late 2014 for the Windows PC and Playstation 4. First announced in April earlier this year, the game is a post-apocalyptic zombie survival game where players will have to survive by using resources to build shelters and craft weapons.

Certainly, fans of the game have been following the game dev's Facebook page for updates. Some have been pretty impatient with the release of the game but devs have assured fans that they are working hard to bring the game to the customer's hands and are just as anxious for the release.

While they have announced that the game is getting a late 2014 release, they have not officially announced an exact date but there seems to be no indication that the date will be pushed back to 2015.

On their Facebook page, the admins shared a video regarding game designer/vehicle specialist Kris Roberts and how the vehicles in-game get designed.

"The artists create the visual geometry, textures, particle effects and animations that comprise what you see as vehicles. The programmers build the systems that support the vehicle simulation, physics, and player interactions," Roberts says.

"I get to tune the parameters for how it behaves for the player in the game, including all the stuff for the motor, chassis, suspension, wheels, and tires, as well as the camera and, player controller input – all of which come together to establish how the vehicle behaves and "feels" to the player," he continues.

So far, the only vehicles that have been made available for the game are the Pick-up Truck and the Off-Roader.
