Halle Berry intervened in yet another fight between fiancé Olivier Martinez and another man, and this time it was a paparazzo. This is the second time in less than one year that Martinez has been involved in a scuffle that turned physical, possibly showing his temper and violent tendency.
"Los Angeles Airport Police responded to take a report of an alleged battery that occurred at Terminal 5 prior to Airport Police arriving on scene," Los Angeles airport LAX said in a statement to E! News.
"The victim (photographer) alleged he was battered but the suspect fled the location before Airport Police were notified. A battery report was taken and filed by Airport Police and is currently under investigation," the statement continued.
The fight took place at the airport when Berry, Martinez, and Berry's daughter Nahla were attempting to leave after a flight. A paparazzo approached the trio to take photos, but Berry did not want her daughter on film. "Get away, there's a child," Berry told the group of photographers.
One did not listen, though, and continued to get close to the three. That's when Martinez allegedly kicked one of the photographers in the leg and wrist before putting Nahla into an SUV. The photographer grabbed Martinez by the arm and asked why he had kicked him, and after getting Nahla out of harm's way, Martinez then reportedly went back into the airport to continue the confrontation.
He kicked the photographer yet again before Berry intervened and told Martinez to get in the vehicle and the couple finally left LAX. It's the second fight that Martinez has been in.
At Thanksgiving he fought with Berry's ex, Gabriel Aubry, and both men ended up under arrest. Aubry then took out a restraining order against Martinez, and the two have been kept apart ever since.
With a police report filed, it remains to be seen whether Martinez will face any charges after this latest incident.
