'Hannibal' Season 3 News: Hannibal, Bedelia Pose as Married Couple, Show Runner Bryan Fuller Plans to End Series

Fans of "Hannibal" will have to wait until the third season of the series will air next year. Until then, those who choose to relive season 2 can get the whole series on Blu-ray and DVD, which will be available on Sept. 16. Of course, having a few spoilers about the upcoming season doesn't hurt the "Fannibals" either.

It has been reported that season three will pick up a year after what took place in the finale, and Hannibal and Bedelia will now be in Europe. The two will be posing as a married couple while Hannibal prepares to kill a new victim.

"[The opening episode] will be all about Hannibal and Bedelia's fabulous life in Europe—except it may not be so fabulous. Although the duo poses as husband and wife while Hannibal stalks a new victim, it won't be long before one of the locals discovers the murderous truth about Dr. Lecter," TV Guide reported.

According to the website, it could be Bedelia herself who outs Hannibal. Show creator Bryan Fuller said that he was excited about the "Bedelia/Hannibal arc." In an interview with IGN, Fuller talked about how the show has evolved in the past seasons, and how he plans to end the series.

"Every season we go into wanting to go out as if it were our last season, because we have absolutely no control over those issues," said the show runner.

"It's impossible to predict. So we always prepare for the show to be ending with that final episode and hope to have more, because I think this show should not go on forever. It should be a close story, and it is nice to see the arc. I don't think it should go more than five or six seasons."

"Hannibal" season 3 is slated to premiere in 2015.
