'Hannibal' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Executive Producer Bryan Fuller Dishes More Info on Upcoming Chapter
Executive producer Bryan Fuller recently spoke to press during an interview session held at the Comic-Con International event at San Diego. The conversation covers some essential points as to what the upcoming third season of the hit NBC psychological TV drama series "Hannibal" will offer.
As already reported, the season 3 opener titled "Antipasto" will devote largely to Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and his psychiatrist Bedelia (Gillian Anderson), resulting to the absence of the rest of the show's characters.
"I would tell you, but it's so much of the fun of the first episode. That's the whole point of the first episode. You don't see any of the other characters. It's Hannibal and Bedelia. It's the Talented Mr. Lecter and how they live under aliases and how they are navigating away from the FBI," the executive producer said.
Their segment, according to Fuller, will also give the followers a more in-depth perspective of Bedelia.
"It's going to answer a lot of question because we do flashbacks. We understand what happened with her patient. We flash back to that. We flash back to the night of the murders and what her perspective was," Fuller went on to say.
Fuller, however, assured fans that Hugh Dancy's Will Graham will be seen as soon as episode 2 airs.
"We'll see Will in episode 2 and start his story then," he added.
"Hannibal" Season 3 premieres this June 4 with "Antipasto" on NBC and will be followed after with "Primavera" on June 11.
