'Hart of Dixie' Season 4 Spoiler, News: Will There Be Another Season for the CW Drama?

The CW's hit comedy-drama TV series "Hart of Dixie" once again wowed their fans when it aired the premiere episode of its fourth season in December, last year. Since then, rumors going on around indicated that this chapter will be the show's last run and there won't be another.

Zap2it TV's early predictions for "Hart of Dixie" were negative, saying that it is likely to be canceled and gave it two frowning smileys. The publication went on to add that axing the show will do "the least damage to the CW schedule."

However, the show's own cast members have been telling a different story. An increase of about 13 percent in viewership sharing could be the reason to hold off the unplugging plans.

"We aren't canceled. We haven't gotten a phone call from anybody at the network. But, if this was the end, then I think we all wanted to just pay it its proper due," actor Scott Porter, who played George Tucker, told Yahoo! News. "I would love to come back and be a part of Bluebell again - and there's a chance - but we really need the support of the fans to be able to come back. If people don't watch, then shows don't come back, so we just need a little help."

For the meantime, this week will see yet another episode of the TV program titled "The Curling Iron." A synopsis for the segment was posted on The Futon Critic and it reads:

"Confused by Zoe's (Rachel Bilson) attempts to make amends, Wade (Wilson Bethel) seeks love advice from Lemon (Jaime King), while Zoe does her best to focus on work instead of her Wade problems. Lemon and Brick (Tim Matheson) are attempting to keep the truth about their respective love lives a secret from Grandma Bettie (guest star Maree Cheatham). Meanwhile, Lavon (Cress Williams) and George (Scott Porter) begrudgingly work together to get the real scoop on Lemon's new boyfriend Henry (guest star Ian Anthony Dale)."

"Hart of Dixie" will air its mid-season premiere on Friday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
