'Hart of Dixie' Season 4 Spoilers, Season 5 Renewal News: Zoe Gets Upset With Wade - Will Series Be Cancelled?

The romance and excitement are getting more intense as the fourth season of the hit comedy-drama TV series "Hart of Dixie" continues this week with episode titled "The Butterstick Tab."

Spoiler reports indicated that Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Wade's (Wilson Bethel) relationship will get a little bit more complicated especially now that they're already having a third member.

A synopsis from The Futon Critic pointed out that Zoe will get upset when she sees Wade flirting "with a few ladies." This calls an action for her to force the father of their child "to change his ways."

Spoiler Guides noted in their report that that this might not be an easy thing for Wade. In order to carry out the ordeal, he has to enlist the help of Lavon (Cress Williams). According to the report, Lavon must see to it that his friend takes control of his mouth and if he ever fails, Wade will receive some slapping on the back.

The rest of the summary from TFC reads:

"Lemon (Jaime King) is blindsided by someone from her past and must make a tough decision on how to handle the situation. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) and AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) try to make their own new adventures together, but are finding it harder than they thought."

In related news, fans have already been wondering about the future of the show now that it is already drawing closer to its finale.

A report from VCPost cited Zap2it saying that there might be a slim chance for HoD to get a season's renewal from The CW.

The site however pointed out the show's growing fanbase which is evident from its increasing viewership since season 4.

Speaking with E! News (via VCPost) in December, showrunner Leila Gerstein admitted that the decision to renew or cancel the show remains "out of my hands." The executive producer assured fans that this season will certainly be a satisfying one.

"I will say that there is a lot of closure in the season finale and there is a definite feeling of celebration at the end of the season," Gerstein said. "But there are also certainly doors left open for the future," she added.

For the meantime, "Hart of Dixie" Season 4 airs this Friday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
