'Hawaii Five-O' Season 5 Spoilers, Cast News: 'Captain Phillips' Guest Stars as Congolese Warlord

Things are about to get more explosive and romantic in the hit police procedural drama TV series "Hawaii Five-O" and spoiler reports for the upcoming episode of the show's fifth season pointed out to a well-received break-out star coming over to play a very dangerous character.

A report from KPopStarz.com indicated that "Captain Phillips" star Barkhad Abdi will play a Congolese warlord who has been living incognito in Hawaii. For those who didn't know, Abdi played opposite to Tom Hanks in the movie as a Somali pirate who took the latter's character hostage.

Abdi's performance earned him a nomination in the Golden Globes and Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor. He later won an accolade in the said category in the BAFTA.

Other than the new case, the show will also tackle about love and romance. A promo video featured Hawaii's finest talking about their preparations for Valentine's Day.

"Romance is in the air!" Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) spoke with Danny (Scott Caan).

"No, romance is not in the air," Danny replied in a mocking manner.

Also included in the footage are some gut-wrenching action scenes with hostage-takings and explosions involving Abdi's character.

"You think I'm a monster?" the warlord said while pointing a gun towards a woman's head.

A full synopsis for this week's episode was posted on The Futon Critic and it reads:

"When a journalist is killed, Five-0 must use his past reporting to hunt down a presumed dead Congolese warlord who is alive and well living on Oahu. Also, as Valentine's Day approaches, Danny overreacts when Grace's texts to a boy start accidently coming up on his cell phone."

"Hawaii Five-O" Season 5 episode 15 titled "E Imi Pono" or "Searching for the Truth" airs this Friday, Feb. 13, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
