The Heart of Dallas Bowl 2014 takes place on Wednesday, New Year's Day, and will feature the UNLV Rebels against the North Texas Mean Green. Today's game will take place from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas and will start at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Rebels managed to have a 7-5 season this year, where as North Texas posted an 8-4 record.
Although this match up might not be the most glamorous among the Bowl games taking place on New Year's Day 2014, it should still provide plenty of excitement as these two teams have some solid players, and both will be desperate to claim the win today.

This will be the Mean Green's first Bowl since 2004, so this will be a special day for them, and one which they will want to put on a good performance in and win.
The Rebels have also been out of the Bowl picture for 10 years, and they will be as desperate as the Mean Green to win this one.
UNLV have managed to make it here thanks to much more solid displays this term compared to previous years. In a large part that higher level play has been driven forward by QB Caleb Herring and TB Tim Cornett.
Herring and Cornett will be massive players for them today if they are to win this game, and they will want big games from them in today's match up.
Herring has thrown 22 touchdown passes this season, but will be up against North Texas LB Zach Orr and S Marcus Trice, who helped the team claim the accolade as Conference USA's most solid defense in terms of points allowed.
