Heidi Klum Confirms Relationship With Bodyguard Martin Kirsten: 'I'm Happy'

Heidi Klum has finally admitted that she is in a relationship with her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten. She spoke about the relationship with Ellen DeGeneres this week, solidifying rumors that the two were an item.

During the interview, Klum said she had finally watched "The Bodyguard," which she had never seen before.

"I've actually watched that movie since then [getting together with Kirsten]. I had to," she said before confirming she was "very happy" with her new relationship.

Speculation has been brewing ever since Klum and ex-husband Seal announced their separation and divorce in January. The two issued a joint statement saying they had "enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage … but have grown apart."

Seal then accused Klum of infidelity, but she responded that she had always been faithful throughout their marriage. It was a hard separation for the parents of four children, but the two have tried to make things work.

"This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition," the joint statement read.

Seal has kept mainly to himself since the separation, but Klum has moved on with Kirsten. The couple has been photographed together, and with the children, although they never confirmed an intimate relationship until now.

Klum and Seal, who usually renew their vows at Halloween and throw a huge party, made different plans this year. Klum, while wanting to still host the annual party, she decided to postpone on account of Hurricane Sandy.

"I was in New York," she told DeGeneres. "So many people have lost their homes and other people have lost a family member. I didn't think it was right to dress up and drink and dance. And so I rescheduled it."
