'Heroes Reborn' new and returning cast revealed, TV promos released

When Tim Kring's TV series "Heroes" arrived in NBC in 2006, it garnered a large fan base proving the show to be exceptionally well written and rendered. But every show has its own ups and downs. From 16 million viewers at the peak of the first season, it decreased to just about four million for the finale in 2010, reports Paste Magazine. So when NBC announced a series reboot, fans expressed mixed reactions along with queries regarding the storyline, the timeline and especially the cast.

According to Coming Soon, cast members who will be reprising their roles in the series include Jack Coleman as Noah Bennet or H.R.G, Jimmy Jean Louis as The Haitian, Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, Cristine Rose as Angela Petrelli and Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman. Unfortunately, fans of Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia and Kristin Bell will have to let them go as they will no longer be returning to the show. New cast members will include Gaitlin Green, Zachary Levi, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Henry Zebrowski, and Rya Kihlstedt, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The show will pick up a year after a terrorist attack that happened in Odessa, Texas left the city annihilated and the ones blamed were those with extraordinary abilities. So now they're in hiding and running away from those who mean harm to them like vigilantes Luke and Joan who are on the hunt for those with superpowers for vengeance. Several promos teased fans in what to expect in the upcoming reboot of the show.
