Hillary Clinton Back to Good Health 'God Willing,' Says Chelsea

Hillary Clinton's daughter Chelsea has updated "Today" show viewers on the status of the Secretary of State's health following a blood clot.

The 32-year-old offspring of the former First Lady told "Today" show host Matt Lauer that Hillary is "as vibrant as ever" on Tuesday.

"She is exuding the energy, the vibrancy and certainly the mental acuity that she always has," Chelsea assured viewers of her mother during the televised interview.

"She will be back to full health soon," the daughter of President Bill Clinton added.

Last month, Hillary was hospitalized for a blood clot in her head after having suffered a concussion in December. The 65-year-old Secretary of State returned to work at the State Department last week after nearly a month away.

"I'm so grateful that she is not only fine, but healthy and strong and, God willing, will be for the next 65 years of her life," noted Chelsea while on "Today."

Meanwhile, the former First Daughter has returned to Washington, D.C. after being named the Honorary Chair of the 2013 National Day of Service.

The title will give Clinton an important role on the day of President Barack Obama's inauguration. The special correspondent for NBC News will headline a summit on the National Mall on Saturday to launch Obama's second swearing-in ceremony.

"There is no more fitting way to mark a presidential inauguration than a day of service," Clinton said in a statement, according to Yahoo! Shine. "Coming together as a country to strengthen our communities has always been part of the American spirit."

Furthermore, Chelsea noted the weekend's significance as it arrives just days after the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"I am deeply grateful that President Obama and his administration have put service at the center of the Inauguration weekend and I am proud to be a part of a nation-wide service effort, honoring the service and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and building a brighter future for all of us," said Clinton.
