The head of America’s largest Hispanic Christian organization has released a book about seven principles drawn from Jesus’ empty tomb that he says can enrich, empower, and transform lives.

"Without a doubt, we live in serious times,” says the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC).

“My desire was to share with the reader biblical principles that stem from the most important day in human history, the day Christ resurrected,” he adds.

Rodriguez’s book, Path of Miracles, draws its base and inspiration from the story of Jesus Christ and the empty tomb.

Rodriguez says just as Christ’s resurrection from his empty tomb happened not far from where he had been crucified, a person’s victories usually happen close to the place of their most difficult circumstances.

And just as Peter and John found folded linen placed intentionally where Christ’s head and feet had lain, so can individuals find guideposts in their own life’s journey.

The goal, Rodriguez says, is to recognize what God has placed throughout our journey in order to guide us toward fulfillment.

“In the midst of this recession, moral relativism, cultural decay, war, unrest and a corporate spirit of fear, God has a miracle waiting for everyone who adheres to these truths,” says the preeminent spokesperson for the Hispanic Evangelical community.

“I wholeheartedly believe the seven principles discovered in the empty tomb will catapult the reader to a place of activating Heaven on Earth,” he adds.

Published by Celebra, the Hispanic books imprint of Penguin Books, Path of Miracles has been out since April 7 and includes a foreword by progressive evangelical Jim Wallis.

A book tour has been arranged that corresponds with Rodriguez’s speaking engagements.
