More excitement about the forthcoming chapter of the show was pointed out by the 35-year-old actor herself as she talked about her character. Viewers will find a Carrie that is "alarmingly-high functioning" and "all work, all the time" kind of operative as she oversee the drone attacks. Speculation suggests that this could be how the intelligence officer and now a mother would cope with the loss of her partner Brody.

"It gets ugly," the "Stardust" actress said in the YouTube interview.

"Homeland" will return with a double treat for fans as it is slated to air two episodes on Showtime this coming Oct. 5.
