Honey Boo Boo's father was seen leaving a doctor's office on crutches after being treated for his injuries. June was also seen at his side assisting him as he left the clinic.

"Honey Boo Boo" features 6-year-old Alana Thompson and her family, including mom June as they enjoy everyday life and compete in beauty pageants.

Alana has won a cult following on another TLC series, "Toddlers & Tiaras," and was given her own spin-off series.

The stars of the reality TV show have often attracted controversy and criticism. However, June "Mama" Shannon, mother of the famous Honey Boo Boo child, has previously spoken out saying, "For every person that's hating on us, there's three people that love us."

The show has enjoyed great success in TV ratings, and it was recently highlighted that show attracted more people that the Republican National Convention when the two programs clashed a few weeks back.

"A lot of people relate to us," Shannon has said. "It's weird that haters know more about our show than our amazing fans."
