"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" debuted on TLC last summer and has been pulling in high ratings for the channel.

The show follows the life of 6-year old beauty pageant contestant, Alana Thompson, the daughter of Mama June and Sugar Bear.

The child made her television debut on the network's hit show "Toddlers and Tiaras" and stood out with viewers due to her energetic and expressive personality.

The show also chronicles the life of the Thompson family, which includes Alana's mother June, and sisters Jessica and Anna who also appeared on "Toddlers and Tiaras" alongside the child star.

"America kind of wanted to know what our life was like outside of the pageant world, and this show will portray that," said June in an interview with CNN last year.

"We do a lot of mud bogging, four-wheel riding, going to community events," she added. "Viewers will still see the preparation for pageants, but it's mainly focused on the Thompson family and the crazy things we do to pass the time by. I think America will get the gist of who we actually are."
