"As long as they want to keep doing it and I'm having great a time doing it," he went on, referring to his role. "We'll just continue to tell the story as long as we feel there's a story worth telling."

Meanwhile, a number of cast members informed Entertainment Weekly on what to expect when the show returns for its third season.

"I think that, if it's possible, the end of [this] season is even more surprising than the last," Mozhan Marno, who plays journalist Ayla Sayyad, told Entertainment Weekly.

During the SAG Awards ceremony, the publication also caught up with the other actors. One of who is Jimmi Simpson who revealed that his Gavin Orsay will "get a big romantic arc."

"It's basically a love show, starring Gavin," the actor said.

Joining Simpson are Molly Parker and Derek Cecil. The latter also shed some light on his character.

"My character starts moonlighting as a comic," the actor said. "He's filthy. He's a very, very dirty comic. He does dirty poetry. It doesn't really show up in this story, but it's hinted at."

"House of Cards" kicks off its brand new season 3 on Netflix this Feb. 27.
