'House of Cards' Season 3 Release Date, Cast Spoilers: Netflix Yet to Announce Premiere Date, Russian Band Joins

Earlier this year, it has been revealed that Netflix original political drama series "House of Cards" has been renewed for a third season. Current reports indicated that despite some tax issues with the Maryland state, filming is still ongoing but when asked as to when will its season 3 premiere, nothing has been confirmed.

That aside, fans of the show are now wondering what will take place in the season 3. Here's what we rounded up so far.

Speculations from Latin Times suggested that with the season 2's ending (which greatly emphasized foreign interactions), the next season will most likely deal with the Russians. This leads to an assumption that new Russian characters will be added in the story.

Coincidentally, a leak from the Baltimore media outlet CityPaper.com indicated that "House of Cards" is allegedly casting a few of members from the political all-girl Russian band, Pussy Riot.

As said in the rumors, members Nadezhda "Nadya" Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina were purportedly seen on the filming set in Baltimore.

It was previously reported by the Wall Street Journal that "House of Cards" showrunners met with the singers in New York, most probably discussing their alleged appearance in the show.

Meanwhile, show creator Beau Willimon took to his Twitter to reveal a behind-the-scene snapshot. The photo was captioned: "Fun with air ducts on the @HouseofCards stages. @netflix."

The image shows of what seemed to be an air duct with a "smiley" figure attached to it. No further information about the picture was revealed.

As mentioned above, "House of Cards" season 3 was initially expected to return on February 2015 but an official announcement from Netflix is yet to come.
