'House of Cards' Season 3 Spoilers, News: Kevin Spacey on 'The Colbert Report' as President Frank Underwood

Netflix's hit political drama "House of Cards" will be returning for its third season and is already on its filming stage. Now fans are already rummaging some news and updates for what the upcoming season has to offer.

Actor Kevin Spacey who plays Francis J. "Frank" Underwood, the famous Democrat from South Carolina who was sworn into his presidency in the previous season, created a buzz when he guested on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report."

He didn't appear there as himself but of his character's persona. Standing in the set, Spacey aka Frank Underwood spoke with Colbert with his signature deep, almost menacing, voice. The two exchanged dialogues wherein Colbert gave his thought of running for a position in Washington D.C. to which the character/actor replied, in an implied way, that he can't do so.

However, one of the most notable parts in the conversation was when Colbert asked the "President" of how he gets so much done. To the audience's delight, Spacey replied as his character.

"Like I always said, a dog doesn't need to show his teeth as long as his growl's deep enough, his food bowl is full and he knows where all the bones are buried," he said.

Meanwhile, speculations has been pointing out lately that HOC's season 3 will tackle more foreign affairs, most specifically with Russia.

It has already been rumored that Russian actors were seen meeting with the show's producers. Earlier in August, The Huffington Post reported that members named Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina of the all-girl rock band from Russia, Pussy Riot, were on set confirming their involvement in the show.

"House of Cards" season 3 is said to premiere its first episode probably in January or February next year.
