Tennessee Titans will face off against the Houston Texans is a big AFC South battle taking place on Sunday in Week 2 of the NFL 2013 regular season. Both teams will not want to give away an inch and this should be a fiercely fought match up.
The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).
For the Titans this is an early season opportunity to prove to everyone that they are serious division contenders this season.
The Texans have skill and experience on both sides of the ball and are for sure one of the Super Bowl possibilities for this season.
If the Titans can claim a surprise win against the Texans today it will certainly turn many heads and could provide a platform for them to make a push for the division and the postseason.
The huge weight of expectation this season is upon the Texans. With players such as J.J. Watt, Andre Johnson, Brian Cushing and Arian Foster, many have them penciled in as one of the class acts this season. They should definitely be competing for the AFC title, and could go a lot further. Many Texan fans feel that this is finally their season after losing in the Divisional round each of the past two seasons.
The Titans meanwhile are not penciled in anywhere at the moment, and not many expect them to be serious contenders for the AFC. However, they managed to pull off a surprise 16-9 win over Pittsburgh in Week 1, and if they can follow that up with another even bigger shock today then some might start taking notice.
The Titans looked very good defensively against Pittsburgh, getting right up in the face of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, claiming five sacks.
Tennessee's defense also only allowed 195 total yards including just 32 on the ground. They will be looking to maintain the same form today and pressure the Texans' offense to the max and hopefully pull off another shock.
