'How to Get Away With Murder' Cast News, Update: Pete Nowalk Talks About What To Expect in Season 2

Fans better brace themselves for more mysteries, deaths, and scandals as one bad thing leads to another in the second season of ABC's hit drama TV series "How to Get Away With Murder."

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Pete Nowalk teased that the characters will have the tendency to commit even more crimes as he likened it to real life people who "do bad things in life and they have to do more bad things to get away with them."

"What we've come up with for season two — and there's so much — I hope people are going to be excited about the new mysteries we introduce," Nowalk told THR. "The high-stakes situation they've been put in — will they get away with Sam's murder? — is going to affect their future decisions in that they're going to make even riskier decisions."

Speaking about the new aspects of the show, the EP went on to tease about "a few new characters" whom fans will meet during the premiere of the sophomore season. Some of these new players will be from the people's past while others are totally brand-new characters.

Nowalk further informed the media outlet that the death of Rebecca in season 2 will bring utter consequences to the lives the characters in season 2.

"It doesn't go away. Just like anything in our show, I don't want anything to be forgotten," he told THR. "Just like Sam's murder, Lila's murder - yes they're dead, but the consequences of that continue to reverberate. The same is going to happen with Rebecca. Some people will know she's dead; some people will know who killed her; some people will think she's missing. She plays a big part in season two, even though she's dead."

"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premieres Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 .m. on ABC. Stay tuned for more updates.
