'How to Get Away with Murder' season 2 premieres on September 24 with more cover-ups and mysteries

"How to Get Away with Murder" will be back for season 2 on Sept. 24 to bring viewers more cover-ups and mysteries to deal with.

On its second season, "How to Get Away with Murder" will present another dead body to hide and more explosive happenings. When the series picks up, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her students will be involved in a more complicated case, but she will urge them to carry on like nothing out of the ordinary happened, according to the International Business Times.

ABC released a sneak peek video of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere, Variety adds.

"You're here because I let you be here," Annalise tells her students in the preview. "So do your work or get the hell out of my house."

Last time, Annalise and her students were trying to pin Rebecca (Katie Findlay) on the murder of Lila (Megan West) after a new set of evidence surfaced. At first, Rebecca wanted to stay mum, but she later on revealed to Wes (Alfred Enoch) what she knows, the report relays.

Rebecca was tied up in the basement and the group of students were about to set her free when they discovered that she was missing. While they thought she had escaped, her body was hidden behind a staircase all the while by Annalise and Frank (Charlie Weber). The identity of Rebecca's killer will be revealed at the end of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 premiere.

In episode 1, Annalise will try to move on from what happened by taking on a new case involving a pair of siblings accused of killing their parents. But she will also do her best to hide from her students the fact that Rebecca is already dead. This secret will lead to the unfolding of more things from her history, and a person from her past will also come back.

Among the new faces to be introduced in the second season of the series are Famke Janssen, who will play a defense attorney, and Kendrick Samson, who will portray a mysterious role.

While each episode will reveal something about the characters' ties with one another, the bond between Bonnie and Annalise still has not been explained. Viewers will know more about their relationship as season 2 unfolds.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 will begin airing on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 pm EDT on ABC.
