'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Episode 2 Spoilers and Updates: Next Episode Reveals Major Character's Death; Will Coliver Get Back Together?

"How To Get Away With Murder" (HTGAWM) Season 3 kickstarted its premiere episode with Wes Gibbins' (Alfred Enoch) and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) finally getting back on speaking terms with each other. Frank Delfino (Charlie Webber) was revealed to be the mastermind behind Wallace Mahoney's murder: he, after all, was the one who picked up Wes and encouraged him to talk to him before Mahoney's brains got blown out.

Onto the next chapter, however, HTGAWM Season 3 Episode 2, "There Are Worse Things Than Murder," will focus on Annalise fighting to keep her job despite the Middleton University Board seeking to oust her. Meanwhile, her stellar Keating 5 will take on the case of a battered woman accused of killing her husband.

More harrowing than the title, however, is the episode's promo. "Who is dead, and who is not?" asked the voiceover, as we see Annalise crying over a dead body in the ambulance as her house burns in the background. Apparently, the show will do its own version of Ten Little Indians, "How To Get Away With Murder"-style, as each episode will reveal one character that's alive. This means weeks of high-strung tension as fans figure out which of their favorite characters weren't axed off before the season ends.

Spoilers for HTGAWM 3.02: 'There Are Worse Things Than Murder'

The Hollywood Reporter revealed a more fleshed out summary for HTGAWM 3.02. The Keating 5, in an attempt for a normal life, have joined Annalise's pro-bono legal clinic. But it seems that MIddleton is not all happy with her offer, as a mystery person had put up posters of her being called a killer.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Pete Nowalk warned that Frank is actually the biggest enemy in the show right now, as he knows all of Annalise's secrets. Annalise fears him, and rightfully so, because she is partly responsible for how he'd turned out. Will he have something to do with who's dead?

Coliver: Will they get back together?

Among the many upsets so far, however, is not a grisly murder, but the breakup of Connor Walsh and Oliver Hampton (played by Jack Falahee and Conrad Ricamora, respectively). The two had broken up after Oliver declined and deleted Connor's Stanford acceptance email. While Coliver fans quickly took contention to this development, Nowalk urged them not to get too "depressed" about it. The two will be very much in each other's lives for the rest of the season, he said, but it "goes to a different place than you would expect."

"How to Get Away With Murder" Episode 2 will air Thursday, Sept. 29.
