The HTC M7 specifications have been revealed in rumors, and now a new render has leaked, showing what the smartphone's design might look like.
The body of this device happens to bear a striking resemblance to Apple's iPhone 5.
The image was leaked by Unwired View. The publication claims that this image was clipped from a short animation clip instructing new owners on first-time SIM card installation for the M7. The leak was provided by a "trusted source."
Earlier this month, an XDA forum member tweeted that the HTC M7 would be revealed this month at CES. However, that did not happen, so now the device is expected to be introduced at this year's Mobile World Congress.
The HTC M7 will be an extremely impressive device that features several industry firsts. HTC will also replace the One X with the M7, making it the new flagship device for the company.
These firsts include specs that rival and top away many of the handsets currently available in the market, such as a 4.7-inch display with a pixel density of 468ppi and a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a second generation 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal flash storage, and LTE connectivity.
However, the 4.7-inch screen size is still just a rumor, as NDTV is reporting that the handset could end up with a 5-inch display when it is released. The device is expected to be full HD (1080p) like its predecessors, the DNA and Butterfly.
The camera on the M7 is said to have some major improvements from previous HTC devices. It will come with a 1080p 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 1080p front camera.
It will also feature either Android 4.1, or 4.2 JellyBean.
