HTC One Sprint Blue Version to be Released on Sept. 10

The HTC One Sprint blue version will be released on Sept. 10.

This color was originally expected to hit Verizon; however, a new report from Phone Arena outlines a Sprint road map that has the blue HTC One launching for the carrier on that date.

Sprint currently offers the HTC One for $99.99 with a new 2-year contract and also gives customers the option to buy one and get one free if they wish to acquire two new HTC One smartphones on contract.

The device is currently available in red, white and black.

The blue version was rumored to be headed to Verizon after Droid Life reported on a leaked document that confirmed the news. Big Red was the last carrier to begin offering the device.

The HTC One launched there earlier this month and is priced at $199.99. There was no word of a blue model during the release.

The carrier is only offering the 32GB version in one color. It also comes running Android 4.2.2, JellyBean while other carrier's versions including AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have Android 4.1. Those models are expected to update to Android 4.3 in the near future.

HTC is also expected to release the One Max as a Galaxy Note competitor.

The new hybrid device will feature the latest Android software along with an updated version of Sense, according to a new report by RB Men. The site also states that the HTC One Max will come with a fingerprint sensor that was seen in earlier photos of the device.

An image leaked last week showing the HTC One line including the One, One mini and One Max. A small black square appears beneath the camera module on the One Max, which the site that posted the picture claims is a fingerprint sensor.

There are also a few contacts on the bottom right side of the Max that could be some sort of dock connecter.
