Huawei G7 Plus News: Impressive Specs And Good Price

After besting fellow Chinese company Xiaomi as the top-selling handset manufacturers in China, Huawei is trying to get ahead of the game once again. This time, the company has released another addition to the growing number of mid-range phones in the market called the Huawei G7 Plus. Fresh from its successful launch of the Nexus 6P with Google, the Chinese company offers up the Huawei G7 Plus as a new phone with impressive specs and a winning price tag.

According to a Tech Times report, the new phone comes with "a premium design" and "great specs" compared to the other mid-range phones in the market. For a $330 device, one impressive feature is its almost all-metal body, save for a few plastic panels for hiding the phone's antennas.

Aside from looking good, the phone also has specs that can be better than most mid-range phones, such as its octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which runs at 1.5 GHz and paired off with 3 GB of RAM. Its cameras include a 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter.

The phone's display is 5.5 inches with full HD (1080p) resolution. Dual-SIM support is available, with 4G LTE connectivity as well. Internal storage is at 32 GB, which is expandable via microSD support. It sports a large 3,000 mAh battery. It is also said to have been equipped with enhanced speakers.

Extra security features include a fingerprint scanner that is located right under the rear camera. The device comes pre-installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop, with Huawei's EMUI 3.1 on top. According to the report, an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow may be coming in early 2016. Color variants include gray, silver and gold.

So far, only markets in China and Thailand have seen the device, but it is said to launch in other markets as well but it is unclear how soon this will happen.
