Illinois vs Colorado takes place on Friday in the NCAA 2013 tournament second round. This is just one of 16 March Madness games taking place today, and should be a tight match up. The game is scheduled to start at 4.40 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

This is one of the most intriguing games of the second round. This East Region match up will see the No. 7 seeded Illinois Fighting Illini take on the No. 10 seeded Colorado Buffaloes.

Illinois will be looking to senior Brandon Paul to step up and deliver. He has struggled for form coming into the tournament but he will have to hit the game running tonight if the Fighting Illini are to claim victory.

Illinois lost in the Big Ten tournament quarter finals to Indiana, and in that game Paul managed 16 points, however, struggled from the floor, shooting just 2 for 13.

Meanwhile D.J. Richardson has averaged 12.4 points per game this season for Illinois.

Colorado finished their season 21-11, and 10-8 in the Pac-12. They will get a big boost by having Andre Roberson back and ready to go today. Roberson missed the final two games if the season but came back for the Pac-12 and scored a double-double with 15 points and seven rebounds. However, that performance was still not enough to help Colorado and they lost in the quarter finals to Arizona.

Illinois vs Colorado is scheduled to tip off at 4.40 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on TNT. Alternatively the game can be watched online through free official live stream by clicking here.
