Impact Movement: An African-American Student Event in Washington, D.C.
Over 4,000 African-American students and young career adults will unite in Washington D. C., December 27, 2002, to January 1, 2003, for an Impact conference. The students will explore the theme, "Called to Lead," and will discuss more effective ways to reach their campuses for Christ. Speakers will address various contemporary issues, including missions on the continent of Africa and around the world. "African-American students are becoming more key in introducing college students to Christ," said Charles Gilmer, national director for The Impact Movement, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. "It's amazing how this ministry has grown and influenced people," Visit the ministry's Web site for further information.
