In the Name of Love

Various Artists

A collection you wouldn’t want to miss is that of U2’s hit songs recorded by some of the finest CCM artists. As a project of inspiration, and support for the World Vision’s response/concern for the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa, a portion of the sales earned through this venture will be donated to that cause.
Included in this album are talented artists Pillar, Sanctus Real, U2, Nicole Nordeman, Starfield, Sixpence None the Richer, Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline, TobyMac, Tait, and Todd Agnew, GRITS (featuring Jadyn Maria,) Delirious?, and Chris Tomlin.
The album begins energetically with the opening tracks ‘Beautiful Day’ by Sanctus Real, and ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’ by Pillar. Passionate and uniquely rock, these songs set a good start and even calls for endless replays that don’t become dull. Amidst the many great hits of U2, Nichole Nordeman, masters the song ‘Grace’ beautifully and gently, lifting the theme of inner peace.

The title track ‘Pride (In the Name of Love)’ was given to the comparable British rock band Delirious?. Lead singer Martin Smith releases his passion in the song as the other band-mates, equally passionate, provide a perfectly synchronized collaboration. Adding a variety of colors to the album, all the CCM artists sing in spirit and in truth. Well-known worship artist, Chris Tomlin closes the album with the ‘Where the Streets Have No Name,’ capturing the essence of this album.

Check this album to support a wonderful cause or to simply listen to quality music sung by your favorite CCM artists!
