Gujarat, India., Nov. 29 - The recipient of the 11th IMC Ladies’ Wong Jankidevi Bajaj Purashkar for the year 2003 is Sister Vandana Dabhi of the Narmada District, Gujarat.

She is a member of a Catholic women’s religious group known as the Daughters of the Cross.

The order has eight centers in Gujarat dedicated to the service of tribal and dalit groups with special services for the girl child and women in the fields of education, medical and care and rural development.
