'Indiana Jones 5' certainly happening, but not anytime soon, Chris Pratt unsure of casting rumors

While many superhero movies on the way are getting themselves spilled from production or paparazzi, one highly anticipated but ultimately lid-sealed movie has not provided fans with any news or hints: "Indiana Jones 5."

Although confirmed to be happening by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, there has been little or no development at all on the popular adventure film.

The past several months put Chris Pratt's name on the list of people who will most probably take the lead role for the franchise's fifth installment, but Pratt has denied the rumors since no one has actually contacted him.

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmell, Pratt was asked if he will be playing the iconic role next and after mouthing the F-word, immediately followed up, jokingly saying, "I have no answer to it. I don't know. I mean, no one has...I missed a phone call the other day. Unknown number. I hope it wasn't him."

Pratt is more famously known for starring in last year's "Guardians of the Galaxy," one of the biggest box office hits of the year. He also seems to be on top of the world as the latest film he starred in, "Jurassic World," has brought in huge figures to the Hollywood hall of hit movies.

SlashFilm reports that the actor was approached by a prod guy from Indiana Jones, but it seems no offer was given or no "Indiana talk" was mentioned.

Other rumors about the movie suggest that it may be slated for a 2018 release, but producer Frank Marshall has slammed the speculations, saying they have not discussed anything about the movie just yet.

The Latin Post suggests that the reason why the fifth installment for the internationally acclaimed franchise has not been mentioned in the past months is because Lucasfilm is just too tied up with the number of superhero movies set to be released in the following years.
