The Indiana Pacers will play the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday afternoon looking to square the series in Game 4. If the Pacers lose today they will be on the brink of dropping out of the NBA 2014 Playoffs in what would be a hugely disappointing postseason for them. Today's game starts at 2 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Hawks come into this game knowing they have a massive opportunity to put one foot in the Second Round. They are 2-1 up in the series, and if they can win again today then at 3-1 they would just need to win one of the last three games of the series to progress.
They will have thousands of fans screaming them on at the Philips Arena, and if they can maintain the confidence they've shown in recent games then they could continue to pile on the Pacers' woes.
Indiana's regular season turned sour towards the end, and those problems have continued into the postseason. Many have noticed that the Hawks have boldly forced the Pacers to adapt to their style of play in an attempt to combat them, but so far they are struggling to contain this strong Hawks team.
Luis Scola has been one of the shining lights for Indiana and has played well over the last two games. They will hope he can maintain that form, and that others can step up to support him. He could see more minutes especially if Hibbert continues to struggle.
Expect the Hawks to continue playing in the way they have been; as eighth seeds most don't expect much from them this postseason, so they are playing with a freedom that this lack of expectation can provide. Indiana oppositely look like they're playing with a heavy weight on their shoulders, and they must shake that off and play with more freedom and expression today if they are to bring this series level.
