The Indianapolis Colts will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in a big clash between two teams who will definitely be in the playoffs. Both teams will have one eye on the postseason, but neither will want to lose this. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Chiefs are currently on 11-3, which is the third best record in the NFL this season so far. However, despite that accolade they are currently only good enough to be seeded 5th for the playoffs.
Their main problem is the Denver Broncos, a team they have lost twice to this season so far. Outside of those losses to Peyton Manning's men, they have lost just once this season. However, recent lapses in form for the Broncos means that the Chiefs still have a chance at winning the AFC West, and they could yet steal the top seeding for the AFC conference for the postseason.
If the Broncos slip up again over the final two weeks and the Chiefs win out then it will be Kansas City not the Broncos who win the AFC West division title and who take a first round bye in the playoffs.
Most do not think that is going to happen though. This week the Broncos are playing the lowly Houston Texans, who have lost 12 straight games. It is strongly felt that the Broncos will win out their final two games and resign the Chiefs to a Wild Card spot.
Meanwhile, the Colts have long since wrapped up the AFC South division title. They have a record of 9-5, however, none of the other teams in the division are even anywhere near .500; the Titans are 5-9, the Jaguars are 4-10 and the Texans are 2-12.
The Colts will want to ramp things up over the final two weeks of the season though, as they have lost two of their last four games. They will want to defeat the Chiefs today and the Jaguars next week to hit the ground running as soon as the playoffs start.
