iOS 9 Update Rumors: Future Firmware Already in Testing Phase

Recent strings of rumors indicated the theories that Apple is currently working hard on its next generation operating system which is aptly called iOS 9.

"This is logical given its annual release schedule around July/August," the site stated.

The iOS 9 speculations blew out following the reports of yet another purported Apple offerings, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, which was perpetrated by a Taiwanese tech website Technews.

Apple is allegedly planning to amp their current flagship's internal memory for the upcoming devices. The next smartphones, according to the site, are now expected to arrive with 2GB of LPDDR4-based RAM, whereas the current-gen units only have 1 GB of LPDDR3-based RAM.

Forbes stated that increasing the RAM twofold and upgrading the internal storage from DDR3 to DDR4 will consequently make Apple's smartphones faster and more powerful than ever.

In comparison, tech product contenders like Samsung and Google have already been selling devices that utilize 3 to 4GB worth of RAM.

Given this information, it is believed that the forthcoming OS from Apple "will be something unimaginably massive" to compensate for the bigger hardware.

"If future iPhones will be hosting such a huge upgrade, it is almost a given that they will run a more-than-capable operating system to keep the power and performance pristine, poised and perfect," the site claimed.
