iPad Pro Release Date, Specs: Apple to 'Reinvigorate' Its Tablet Line, More iPad Pro Concepts Revealed

Apple may be making two new iPad models that are set for release at the end of the year or next year, according to reports.

The surge for Apple tablet productions could be brought by the company's move to "reinvigorate" their second-best selling line after the decline it suffered over the last two quarters, according to Bloomberg.

There's already a huge amount of full-sized iPad with 9.7-inch screen available while a smaller-sized 7.9-inch iPad Mini is also available. But perhaps the most controversial scoop lately pertains to the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro Device.

TrustedReviews reported that sources from Foxconn, the primary manufacturing division of Apple products, suggested that they have recently been working on a 12.9-inch screen with 4K resolution.

Although the reports have not yet been confirmed, Apple fans are already making concepts of the iPad Pro. Some of them are totally off scale, but others fit the Cupertino company's aesthetic quite well.

One to mention is a concept design which indicates the iPad Pro will have a Retina screen display of 11.3 inches with 2700 x 2025 pixel resolution. It will also be 3 cm wider than the iPad Air but would weigh no more.

The speculations also suggested that the iPad Pro will use the Apple Ax processor and ARM-based chips that could power the speculated multi-screen function – a feature that allows the user to simultaneously run two apps on the same page.

Rumors indicated that the tablet will have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a camera that is hidden below the Apple logo, a longer-running battery, a more responsive Siri, among other things.

The iPad Pro will be considered the largest iPad Apple has ever made. As of the publishing of this article, the company hasn't yet announced any official statements with regards to the rumored device.
