iPhone 4S Release Date: Droid Razr to Have Better Specs?

In terms of certain specs, the iPhone 4S may not be the king of the castle, according to Tipster who recently reported the specifications of Motorola’s new Droid Razr.

The new smartphone is rumored to include 1GB of Ram while the iPhone 4S only has 512MB.

It will also have a 1.2GHZ dual-core processor and a 4.3 inch screen which is similar to the display of the Droid X2 and Bionic.

The Droid Razr will support LTE 4G connectivity and is said to be the thinnest LTE smartphone to date.

This new Motorola device is expected to launch on Oct. 18, a little less than a week after the release of the new iPhone 4S.

Tipster claims this new phone may perform at faster speeds than the new iPhone due to its beefed up hardware.

Other rumors have pointed that the device is actually available in Verizon stores right now.

Either way the buzz for the iPhone 4S is a force to be reckoned with.

The long awaited next generation Apple smartphone was pre-ordered by 1 million people in 24 hours, according to Apple who is offering the device in three memory capacities including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.

Customers have been lining up outside Apple store locations in order to get their hands on the iPhone 4S the day of its release.

The smartphone will run on Apple’s new iOS 5 which will support iCloud and iMessage.

iCloud will allow Apple users to access their media with any portable device able to connect to the internet.

iMessage is a texting feature which allows users to send messages to each other without being charged for texting.

Another interesting aspect of the iPhone 4S is Siri, the voice navigation program which can perform many tasks by the owner speaking into the smartphone.

It seems that the Droid Razr has a lot more to compete with than just hardware.
